About The ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Analyst Exam:

  • Duration: 150 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 40
  • Exam Type: Multiple-choice
  • Prerequisite: To be eligible to this exam, candidates must first hold the ISTQB® Foundation Certificate.
  • In order to achieve success, it is necessary to answer a minimum of 52 questions correctly, which accounts for 65% of the total 80 points. It's important to note that incorrect answers do not affect the counting of correct answers.

The Advanced Level certification is suitable for individuals seeking a more comprehensive knowledge of software testing. This qualification extends beyond testers and is relevant for professionals like project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors, and management consultants who desire a deeper understanding of the subject. To obtain the Advanced Level certification, candidates must already possess the Foundation Certificate and demonstrate to the Exam Board that they possess the necessary practical experience to be deemed qualified at the Advanced Level.
